To Those Who Read My Blog

Today I want to thank all my dear readers for following me on my journey.  Knowing you are checking for a new post has kept me interested in recording everything on my web-log.

Out of respect for the privacy of my family, I have not shared any details of my visits with them or pictures of anyone, nor times and dates and places that involved them.
However I hope you enjoy as much as I can share and that it is helpful.

Dear Miss Lydia:

Thank you for sharing with us your ideas about the Lord, home and family. I check your blog everyday to see if you have a new post for me to enjoy. I would like to say that I have been following your blog for a few years now and it has been a major influence on my life. I now carry the things you say to my daughters, who have families of their own, so they can share in the godly wisdom you give .

Blessings, and then more blessings on you and your family.

Warm regards,

Mrs. B

I love what Mari has said. Lydia, I have wondered about why you weren't posting anything about family, the funeral, etc. I decided it was for their privacy and the very painful time it is for all of you. I admire you for respecting them.
I have enjoyed so much what you have posted while in Australia. The fresh spring flowers are so refreshing to see from the gray standpoint

I have enjoyed every photo and bit of information you have shared on your incredible journey. What a beautiful country with charm abounding. And such a different look and feel from ALABAMA! I am sorry for the loss of your beloved mother, and am grateful you have taken the time to take us along on your travels. God bless you, Lydia.

I have really enjoyed following you on your trip and look forward to your posts every day. I am learning a lot about the area and the food, which just looks wonderful! I also enjoy looking at all the pictures of the houses and have learned a lot about hospitality. Thank you for taking the time to blog during your busy trip. And bless all your lovely friends and hostesses who I am sure have made your stay a little more pleasurable. It is encouraging to see that even during a difficult time you have enjoyed the little things around you. Thinking of you on the other side of the pond. Susan

Dear Lydia

Coming to your blog and "parking" here by keeping the Home Living webpage open as I do my other job (not consistently homemaking:( keeps me cheerful as I work. Anytime I feel disoriented in my calling as a woman i just pop in for a refreshing post. It's a lifeline. Your posts on the home, even your jaunts about town, and visits and opinions keep me focused on God and His Beauty. One of your older articles about friendships and keeping friends who exhort you on homemaking really encouraged me. Blessings!

This is why you are a most wonderful example and mentor dear sister, because you show us practically how to use discretion in our lives as ladies.
